Troop 48′s Newest Eagle Scout!

Congratulations to Mr. Danny Smith, who completed his Eagle Scout rank tonight! Danny is our 110th Eagle Scout.

Danny’s Eagle Project was to plant trees and help with an updated, media-heavy phone tour of Batsto. He served just about every leadership position in the troop from “the only kid who listens (thanks Danny Ballas)” to Assistant Patrol Leader to Assistant Senior Patrol Leader to Senior Patrol Leader to Junior Assistant Scoutmaster, as well as Scribe and Webmaster on the side. He has been a big part of helping to revitalize the Troop, especially on the high adventure end of things.

Danny, we couldn’t be prouder of you. Congrats!

Danny Smith’S Eagle Scout Project!

Hello everyone!

Guess what is this Sunday, October 14th.

My Eagle Scout project of course.

You might be asking yourself, where is this Eagle Project of Danny Smith?

Well, it is in the great historical village of Batsto!

What will we be doing?

We will be planting trees, about 10 of them, and we will be replacing the current phone tour around the village with a new QR code tour.

What do you need?

I would recommend bringing some clothes you don’t mind using in gardening situations. Food and beverages will be provided, but a personal water bottle is a good suggestions as you may be a farther walk than you feel like walking for some refreshment.
